About the Owner
Dolphin’s owners, Restaurateur Elio Rugova and sons, jumped at the chance of opening Dolphin in their home town of Yonkers. Elio Rugova has owned restaurants in Manhattan and Fairfield CT, but Dolphin being located in Yonkers is special to the family. Dolphin is a part of the re-birth of the Yonkers downtown area. The Yonkers waterfront has long been neglected till recently with the new buildings and restaurants that have opened up across the area. We feel honored to be a part of the new beginning for Downtown Yonkers.
